I just reviewed my site statistics for this webpage. Sad to say, my viewership is at an all time low of only an avg of 43 pages views per month. However, in the spirit of this holiday, I am thankful that I still can achieve more than 1 page view per day...

Nevertheless...it is an alarming trend...at this rate...the only one who will read the verbal diarrhea of my mind will be me. So, I would like to take this time to ask my viewership this very important question..."What topics do you want to see me write more about?"

In the meantime...I want to write about turkeys. I find it funny that when Chinese people decide to have turkey for Thanksgiving, it's surrounded not by candied yams and not by black forest ham, but by broccoli and shrimp, by noodles and rice, and by a variety of other Chinese food. At least we have cranberry and gravy to go with the turkey.

Speaking of turkeys, we also always always overestimeate how much turkey we can eat...the adults always buy like 24 lbs of gobbler...and then there's always like 1/2 of it left over even after everyone has stuffed there face full....which means...turkey for another 2 months. Good thing I live in Berkeley now...

Just a few hours ago, when I was showering...i picked up the shampoo bottle, which triggered a memory from my childhood...around 4th grade there was a period when i didn't know the difference between shampoo and conditioner...which, trust me...is not good... For the longest time...my mother was extremely baffled as to why the heck my head smelled so funky even tho i clearly took a shower every day... Yet do not worry, my friends...all that is in the past... I have already learned by now that conditioner is not a replacement for shampoo...

I learn a lot in my classes at college...especially through trial and error...I learn important things like...don't use whiteout to draw your personal logo on your arm...because whiteout doesn't come off...until a week later...and then you have to walk around with a jacket on hot days...so people dun start thinkin' you have religious symbols tattooed on you...

On another note...actually...no...not on another note...i'm done for now...

My football team is embarrassing...it's so hard to watch our games...and this is my last friggin' semester dagnabbit...

This morning...as i was lying in my bed...i realized that having the top bunk is difficult sometimes...it makes doing even the simpliest things a challenge...it requires a lot of deep thoughtful thinking first...like...do i really want to exert the effort to climb down out of my cozy-warm bed in the cold and use the restroom...or is my bladder man enough to last for another hour and a half until i really need to wake up...

I think of myself as seeing a car in the process of happening...yet unable to stop it...its fascinating in a sense...but also very sad...they say don't play with fire...but i never listen...and then the flames will end up burning me and then i will sit there and mope and whine to myself...guess i haven't grown up...

How many times have you looked forward to an event, but then it just doesn't turn out as you had expected? That is definately my experience. It's not that the actual event is bad...but more that it wasn't what you were expecting. And sometimes, you may spend all your time absorbed in how it's not the way you expected and end up missing even the cool elements of the event. That's why I've almost given up on planning events...because despite how much you plan...it's not always gonna turn out the way you planned it...so why even set the expectations to let them fall down. I say almost, because I still have expectations, and it just sucks to not have them met. But that's part of life. Expecting things that don't happen.

I love Scott Adam's blog...his humor cracks me up... http://dilbertblog.typepad.com/

I think my favorite comic strip would be Dilbert...but it's also hard to say that for sure...since "Calvin and Hobbes" and "Bloom County" are all great too...but i guess the only reason why i would pick Dilbert over the other two is that all the strips are publicly available...and it's about a subject matter im intimately familiar with...you got to have taken some business classes, espeicially Organizational Behavior, to really appreciate the strip...

I aspire to be as funny as Scott Adams...i wonder when i started aspiring to be funny...i dun remember having that much of a disposition towards displays of humor as a child...i wonder when it started developing...

Sometimes...i like to just sit and stare up at the sky and watch the clouds drift by...it's so peaceful...i wish i could also have a soft grassy knoll and a gentle breeze whipping through the willows and the sound of a trickling brook nearby and a view of majestic mountains capped with snow and with unicorns grazing in the distance... Yes, that would be nice.
